Ava’s love of animals began with volunteering at pet adoptions across Los Angeles in her youth. She quickly realized that animal care was her passion and was hired at a dog daycare where she was soon promoted to lead handler. After years in the dog daycare world, she fostered a desire to become a trainer. Under the mentorship of Rhoda Baldwin (GM/Trainer/Behaviorist of K9s Only) and training through our company, she’s joining the ranks as dog trainer at K9s Only West LA. When Ava isn’t training or leading as a Pet Pro Lead at K9s Only, she can be found volunteering at local animal shelters and furthering her education in animal sciences. Ava’s goal is to become a veterinarian and to make a difference in every animal’s life that she is blessed to be a part of.
