Training Programs
K9s Only offers the following programs for you and your companion: In Kennel Training, Private Lessons, Group Classes and Therapy Dog Training. Develop a strong foundation for confidence, communication, patience and respect to guarantee a healthy relationship with your companion for the rest of his life. K9s Only offers behavior modification, Basic Obedience, Advance Obedience, Puppy Raising, Socialization, Personal Protection, Anti-Aggression and Infant/Canine Introduction available.
In-Kennel Training
Comprehensive training of your dog at our state-of-the-art facility for a period of three to four weeks, that addresses obedience, behavioral issues and patience. We complete the training by working with you and your companion. *Lifetime warranty*
- Basic or Advanced Obedience
- Socialization with other dogs and people
- Housebreaking and crate training for puppies
- Minimum 4 follow-up sessions* required
* Free follow-up sessions for as long as you own the dog once 4 follow-ups have been completed.
Private Training On Leash and Off Leash Available — 6 Weeks
Once a week, we work with you and your dog to teach you commands to give you a better understanding of dog behavior to improve your relationship with your dog. (At Home training is available for an additional fee.)
- Classes generally last 6 weeks
- Daily homework done by you — at least 30 to 60 minutes each day
- Behavioral problem solving and personalized attention
- Advanced Obedience training also provided. We will work with more difficult distractions and teach you how to wean your dogs off of the leash.
Group Classes
Group classes give your dog a chance to work on obedience and socialization. We do not recommend group classes for dogs with aggression towards other animals or people. If your dog has a specific behavioral problem, you should schedule an evaluation.

Therapy Training
K9s Only is proud to partner with New Leash On Life's Lend A Paw program to offer a unique opportunity for you and your dog to work together to enhance the lives of individuals experiencing physical, mental, emotional or life challenges. As a Therapy Dog team, you and your dog will be invited to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and other care facilities in order to provide individuals in need with positive interaction with animals. Interaction with Therapy Dogs has been known to promote improvement in physical, social, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
In order to become involved, your dog must be over one year old, spayed or neutered, and be well socialized. The first step is to complete one of our Basic Obedience programs. Once training is complete, you will attend a Lend A Paw certification workshop to be tested and certified. For more information on New Leash On Life and the Lend A Paw program, visit NLOL .

Directions
We are located approximately 1/2 mile north of the 101 freeway. Take the Reseda Blvd. exit and travel north (make a right if you are coming from Los Angeles). Travel approximately 1/2 mile to Topham Street (just past Oxnard St. and the Metro Orange Bus Line), turn left.
Our building is on the right hand side of the street. You may park on the street; in the back, behind K9s Only; or across the street in the Orange Line bus parking lot.
